First of all I have to say this book in spots felt kinda like déjà vu I don't know why. I've never read this book before. It was strang because it was like I knew some of the stuff or pictured it in my head like I've seen it. I know it probably sounds weird. Of course I can't explain where without giving away the story. So anyways this was another great book to add to this series collection. Of course I new early on in the beginning when Audrey, finally gave into will, what her secret was kinda going to be. Once you start to realize and obviously know what her secret is you can understand and see why she pushes will away so much in the beginning. But Will is so perfect, he's the most caring person you could ever ask for and so sweet at wanting to please Audrey so much. Audrey is slightly quiet and its understanding how she has this big secret that's she's afraid to let anyone find out about/know. Her parents weren't exactly the best but not horribly bad, and what she went through and how she grew up makes sense with her secret. In the book Audrey talks about her aunt a little and how she feels closer to her. Knowing about her aunt Makes me actually love her a lot. she seems so nice, loving, and caring more than Audrey's own parents, you can really see why she would be closer to her than her own mother. I don't know what I would do if I was ever in her shoes, I think I would just cry. Again like the first two books I love the characters and how they are such a close group of friends/family. I don't think it would be as good without them they're to much of a big part of each story. I think Audrey and wills story was really good and of course I had the sniffles many times again like the fist two. I loved all the steaminess in the book which was a little wowzers at times "I had many blushing moments". Their love is so perfect for each other. I'm happy with how everything turns out in the end but a little sad that it's almost over with only one book left. I don't want it to be the end.
So again if asked I would defiant recommend this book it is really good.

Slowly We Trust Fall and Rise Book 3 edition by Chelsea M Cameron Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Great series
I have loved all three books in this series, this one took a little but for me to get into, but once I did I could not put it down!
I love this series and have read all of these. I also teach high school and this topic of abuse is an important one. Here is a realistic portrait of dealing with loss of a parent, growing up and expectations and judging others based on character not appearance.
This is not on par with the first two books in this series. I really enjoyed books one and two, but it was a struggle at some points for me to get through this one. It was pretty predictable and repetitive. I get that Audrey has trust issues, she should have trust issues. However, it was the constant battle of the book. It just got a little old. After the first two, I have come to expect a more dynamic, involved plot. I recommend skipping this book in the series, but definitely read the first two if you haven't.
Audrey and Will are the next couple in the Fall and Rise series. Audrey is holding big secrets and Will is trying his best to discover them. Will tries to understand Audrey's reluctance to have a relationship and her constant push-pull with him. Once she commits herself to a relationship, she continues to hold big secrets from him. I will not give away her secrets, but they are big and life altering. Will is very understanding when they become known and stands by her side. Audrey was a little tough to like throughout this book and, although her parents were extremely moralistic and unbending, she made mistakes also. Overall a good read. If you liked the other books in this series, you will like this one.
I absolutely loved Deeper We Fall (Lottie and Zan's story) and liked Faster We Burn (Katie and Stryker's book). So when I saw that Will and Audrey were getting their own book, I was excited but I questioned how a full-length book would come about since we knew a lot of what transpired between Will and Audrey by reading the first novels.
Well...that excitement quickly turned to annoyance when I started this book and realised it was going all the way back to the beginning. I didn't need to re-live everything between these two from the time they met. And for a book that's only about 250 pages long, it took me over a week to read it. Mostly because if these two weren't having sex, they were internally doubting the relationship and, in Audrey's case, worrying about a secret being revealed. (BTW, as a reader, you can guess the secret really early on and after that the book really gets boring).
I'm really sad to give less than a stellar review, but if this book had been written more as a companion novella to Deeper We Fall and Faster We Burn (and kept to less than 150 pages), I would have loved the story. I think Audrey and Will really complement each other as characters, both have their nerdiness that really works together, both are involved students that value getting good grades and studying hard.
Also, as is the case with self-published books, there were some random and odd typos or word mistakes that popped up throughout. In some cases, entire words were missing thus completely changing the meaning of the sentence. I usually can ignore them, but since I wasn't really involved in this book I seemed to find them every time.
